Western Geotechnical Laboratory Services (WGLS) offers a comprehensive range of advanced geotechnical testing to Australian Standards and in-house methods, covering One Dimensional Consolidation in standard, undisturbed comprehensive, and remoulded configurations (AS 1289.6.6.1), Collapse Potential, Direct Shear Multi Stage in both Drained and Undrained conditions (AS 1289.6.2.2), Settlement Testing in drained and undrained variants, Air Drying, and Collapse Potential assessment. WGLS also provides specialist analytical services including X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) for mineral identification, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Automated Imaging and Analysis by Electron Microscopy, and Optical Microscopy.
